According to ТСН: In Kryvyi Rih, a blackout occurred as a result of a new enemy attack, which caused water supply problems due to disruptions in the operation of pumping stations. Currently, 17 injured have been recorded.

According to Kryvbasvodokanal, the situation is complicated by simultaneous shelling and security threats, requiring maximum attention and caution from employees.

“We ask residents to approach the situation with understanding and calmness,”
- the company's message stated.

Acting Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Vladyslav Haivanenko, reported significant destruction in the city.

“Among the injured is a child. A 57-year-old man is in serious condition. High-rise buildings have damaged windows and balconies, and the infrastructure is suffering,”
- he noted.

Attacks on Other Areas

Besides Kryvyi Rih, the enemy attacked other areas of Dnipropetrovsk region throughout the day:

  1. Kamianske District: Infrastructure damage is being assessed after drone strikes.

  2. Nikopol Region: Artillery shelling and FPV drone attacks occurred. Nikopol, Pokrovska, Myrivska, and Marhanets communities were affected, with damage to a five-story building and three private houses, as well as a car and power line.

  3. Synyavskyi District: The center of the attack on the Vasilkiv community led to a fire and damage to two private houses and three cars.

The Head of the City Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, also reported that the number of injured as a result of the missile attack on Kryvyi Rih has risen to ten.

“One man is extremely critical, in surgery, with a severed leg due to the explosion,”
- he said.

A headquarters for assisting the victims is being established in Kryvyi Rih, but the exact address is not disclosed due to the threat of new strikes. Residents can learn the location of the assistance point from police officers or communal services working on site.

As of 19:50 the number of victims has increased to 13.

“9 people are in the hospitals, including boys aged 7 and 16. One man remains in extremely critical condition. Nearly one and a half dozen apartment buildings and cars are damaged,”
- Haivanenko noted.

As of 20:00 17 injured have been confirmed, including 4 children, as reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

It should be noted that on January 7, Russian occupation forces launched a new massive attack on Kryvyi Rih, resulting in the first three casualties.

Also, on January 6, explosions were heard in Kryvyi Rih during the air raid, confirming that the Russian army struck the city.
