Russia struck Odesa: critical infrastructure left without heat.
Russians attacked Odesa
On the night of February 19, Odesa was affected by a massive attack from the Russians. The mayor of the city, Hennadiy Trukhanov, reported that this attack caused serious consequences.
“After the enemy attack on the densely populated part of the city, many houses were left without electricity, water, and heating,” - he wrote.
The mayor noted that due to the lack of heat, hospitals, polyclinics, and social facilities were affected. An operational headquarters is already dealing with this.
Currently, Mayor Trukhanov is assessing the consequences of this attack together with experts.
Previously, there were reports of electricity problems in the city after explosions. There is also a fire in Odesa due to massive drone attacks. In Sumy, a missile strike near a civilian facility was recorded, but there were no casualties. Explosions were also heard in Kyiv and the region, but air defense was on guard.
