According to TSN.ua: In the early hours of October 27, 2023, Russian forces launched an attack on the Kyiv region, specifically targeting the Bucha district. The assault damaged at least eight private homes, blowing out windows and damaging facades and roofs. This attack, part of an intensified aerial campaign against the capital, involved a new type of weaponry: jet-powered drones. These attacks on residential areas have become a grim feature of the ongoing conflict.

Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnik, stated that the enemy had once again attacked the Kyiv region, harming peaceful settlements and the homes, lives, and safety of ordinary people. He reported that Ukrainian defenders successfully intercepted all launched drones, which significantly reduced the attack's potential impact.
Mykola Kalashnik also announced that all people whose homes were damaged are already receiving necessary assistance. He emphasized that this effort is being carried out in cooperation with local authorities and with the support of international partners.
The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration urged residents of the region to follow safety rules during air raid alerts to protect themselves and their families from potential threats.
