Attack on energy facilities in Odesa region
According to ТСН: On the night of Wednesday, the Russian troops again struck energy facilities in the Odesa region, causing significant damage.
This was reported by the DTEK press service.
“Odesa region: the enemy struck energy facilities again. At night, Russia attacked two DTEK energy facilities,” the company emphasized.
The energy workers noted that the infrastructure damage is serious, and restoring the equipment will take some time.
According to DTEK, in December alone, Russian troops damaged ten substations in the Odesa region. Since the beginning of 2025, attacks on 25 energy facilities in the region have already been recorded.
The situation in the Odesa region remains tense due to constant attacks, which significantly complicate the process of restoring energy infrastructure. This negatively affects the living conditions of the region and the public services provided to residents. Energy workers are making efforts to quickly restore electricity supply; however, limitations may last for some time.
