“Critical equipment that ensures uninterrupted gas supply to the population was under attack”
As a result of the attack, there was damage to gas infrastructure facilities. Currently, rescuers and specialized services are working at the scene, eliminating the consequences and preparing to restore the operations of the damaged facilities.
The situation with energy security
The situation remains complex, as Russia continues to attack Ukraine's energy facilities. Alexander Kharchenko, director of the Energy Research Center (ERC), notes that the country's energy security is under threat. There is a lack of resources to enhance the security of energy facilities in the face of new possible attacks.
This attack highlights the relevance of the issue of energy security in Ukraine. In the context of constant threats, it is important to take effective measures to protect critical infrastructure. The public and authorities must focus on the rapid recovery of damaged facilities to ensure the stability of gas supply for the population.
