Russians attacked Zhytomyr region at night: there are wounded and fires.

According to ТСН: On the night of January 11, there was again shelling of critical infrastructure in Zhytomyr region. As a result of the attacks, there are wounded.

Consequences of the strikes on Zhytomyr region

According to information from the head of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration Vitaliy Bunechko, as a result of the shelling, two employees were injured.

“They sustained moderate injuries and were hospitalized to a medical facility,” said the head of the Regional State Administration.

It also became known that several fires broke out, which were complicated by the repeated air alerts.

“One of the fires was extinguished by rescuers, the extinguishing of another one is currently ongoing,” added the head of the department.

Earlier, Russian troops attacked residential buildings and shops in Zhytomyr region. Among the dead is a 4-year-old child.

“Currently, 6 wounded people are known, including two children. One child and one adult are hospitalized and receiving assistance in the medical facilities of the region,” the message states.

Shelling in Zhytomyr region continues, and the situation remains tense. Local residents hope for a quick end to the military actions and a return to peaceful life. Meanwhile, territorial defense services and rescuers are working to eliminate the consequences of the attacks and provide assistance to the victims.
