Russia attacked Volyn with Shaheds: 8 thousand subscribers were left without electricity.

According to ТСН: Friday, December 26, turned out to be restless for the residents of the Volyn region. Air raid alerts were announced several times, as the enemy tried to hit energy facilities.

Ivan Rudnytskyi, the head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, reported on the consequences of the attack.

Where the enemy targeted

According to him, Russian 'Shaheds' again struck critical infrastructure.

Two areas were particularly affected – Kamen-Kashirskyi and Kovel, where air raid alerts sounded twice. Sirens also warned of danger in the Lutsk region.

Consequences of the strike

The main consequence of the attack was interruptions in electricity supply.

“Currently, about 8 thousand subscribers are without energy supply,” Rudnytskyi noted.

Fortunately, this time there were no injuries: there is no information about casualties or injuries.

Energy workers and emergency services are already working at the impact sites. Recovery work is ongoing to restore electricity to people as quickly as possible.

It is also worth noting that on the same night, the Russians shelled Mykolaiv region. As a result of the attack, residential buildings and vehicles were damaged, and part of the region was left without electricity.
