Shelling of Cherkaske Village and Its Aftermath
According to TSN.ua: A Russian military strike on the village of Cherkaske in the Donetsk region has resulted in civilian casualties, including several children. The attack claimed the lives of:
- A 32-year-old man;
- His 5-year-old son;
- Two neighbors.
Additionally, the boy's mother and three girls, aged 12, 14, and 16, were wounded. A 34-year-old local woman also suffered blast injuries, burns, and abrasions, with all victims reported to be in serious or moderate condition.
Airstrike on Sloviansk
In a separate incident, Russian forces targeted Sloviansk with a 250-kilogram guided aerial bomb. This relentless violence underscores the severe and ongoing threat to civilians in eastern Ukraine, where such attacks have become tragically common. The conflict in the Donbas region, now in its tenth year, continues to inflict a heavy toll on non-combatants.
