Projected Wage Growth in Ukraine for Spring 2026
According to TSN.ua: Wages in Ukraine are forecast to increase in the spring of 2026, though the pace of growth will vary significantly across different professions. According to projections, the average salary in March 2026 could rise by 1.5% compared to February. The state budget for this year sets the average wage at 30,032 UAH. Currently, the average salary in Ukraine stands at approximately 28,000 hryvnias.
Experts note that precise official data for the average February wage is not yet available. Estimates place it at roughly 28,800–28,900 UAH. Andriy Zablovsky pointed out that March is anticipated to be a month of active growth, linked to the start of the spring business season and preparations for sowing, which boosts wages in the agricultural sector.
A steady market adjustment towards this benchmark is expected throughout the spring. Oleh Pendzin noted that in March, the average wage could increase by an estimated 1.5% compared to February, or by 400–450 UAH. However, wage growth will differ substantially depending on the industry.
