Defense forces hold back the onslaught of occupiers on the Pokrovsk direction – General Staff.

Since the beginning of the day, the invaders have carried out 109 combat clashes with Ukrainian defenders. This information was provided by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russians twice attacked the positions near Pletenivka and Vovchansk, where one attack continues. In addition, the enemy launched two KAB strikes in the areas of Hoptivka and Semenivka.

In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian forces carried out 18 offensive actions. A total of six attacks are currently ongoing.

The enemy stormed positions in the Lyman direction 13 times. As a result, twelve attacks were repelled, one continues.

Defense forces repelled three Russian attacks in the Siversk direction, attacking near Vyiimka, Ivano-Darivka, and Verkhniokamianske. The situation is under control.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked six times near Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Ivanivske, and Andriivka. Five attacks were repelled, one continues. In addition, the enemy carried out two airstrikes.

The occupiers tried to dislodge units from positions in the Toretsk direction ten times. Nine battles were completed, one continues. The occupiers also carried out an airstrike on Druzhba.

The enemy carried out 36 assault actions in the Pokrovsk direction. Ukrainian defenders repelled 28 attacks, currently, eight more battles are ongoing. Enemy losses are being determined.

In the Kurakhiv direction, the occupiers attacked near Ukrainsk, Halytsynivka, Heorhiivka, and Kostiantynivka 14 times. Ten enemy attempts were repelled, four are still ongoing.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked our positions near Vodyane and Vuhledar. In addition, the enemy dropped two KABs near Sadove and carried out airstrikes on Yehorivka and Solodne.

The enemy conducted an offensive action near Robotyne in the Orikhiv direction, but the attack was repelled.

Unsuccessful were the attempts of the occupiers to attack the positions of our units in the Prydniprovsky direction. The situation in other directions remains unchanged.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, in the Kursk region, the defense forces of Ukraine advanced up to 2 km in certain directions and took control of 5 sq. km of territories. In other directions, the situation is difficult but controlled.
