The mayor of Odessa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, received 577 thousand hryvnias in the first half of 2025. However, the main part of this amount consists not of his salary, but of various additional payments and bonuses for high achievements at work.

This was reported by journalists from the Nikcenter publication, referring to a response to a request to the Odessa City Council.

The official salary of the mayor of Odessa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, is just over 20 thousand hryvnias per month. However, the city mayor regularly receives bonuses, allowances, and compensation for business trips. In total, in the first half of 2025, Hennadiy Trukhanov received up to 350 thousand hryvnias in bonuses (each of them between 50 and 69 thousand hryvnias). In addition, during this period, the city mayor regularly received allowances for high achievements at work. The maximum amount he received in March was 19 thousand hryvnias. In other months, the amount of additional payments ranged from 13 to 17 thousand hryvnias. The total amount of payments received from the city budget over the first 6 months of 2025 was 577 thousand hryvnias.
