According to ТСН: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has confirmed that six people died as a result of a traffic accident near the Polish city of Brzeg, among whom five were Ukrainians.

According to the information from the General Consulate of Ukraine in Wroclaw, on December 24, a traffic accident occurred on the DK39 road, in which Ukrainians born in 1995, 2003, 2006, 2007, and 2008 died.

Investigative actions and contact with families

Polish law enforcement agencies have already started investigative actions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that Ukrainian consuls are in contact with the families of the deceased.

Details of the accident

It should be reminded that in the morning of December 24, a serious accident occurred near Brzeg involving two cars - a Ford Kuga and a Volkswagen Passat.

“There were Ukrainian nationals in the Volkswagen Passat - four men and a woman. Genetic testing will be necessary for their identification,” said the spokesman of the District Prosecutor's Office, as quoted by 'Fakt.pl'.
