According to TSN.ua: A head-on collision between a truck and a passenger vehicle on the Kyiv-Chop highway has resulted in two fatalities. The crash occurred near the village of Abranka in the Mukachevo district. The Kyiv-Chop route is a major national artery in western Ukraine, carrying significant traffic.
A 52-year-old truck driver, failing to maintain a safe speed, crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with an SUV. The driver of the SUV, a 41-year-old man, and his 36-year-old wife died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. Their 3-year-old daughter was hospitalized with injuries.
