According to TSN.ua: A deadly traffic accident occurred on Zhytomyrska Street in Berdychiv, Zhytomyr region, on January 30 at approximately 11:50 PM. The collision between a Mazda CX-9 SUV and a Nissan Leaf electric vehicle resulted in the deaths of the electric car's driver and his wife, who was a passenger.
According to law enforcement, a 32-year-old female resident of Berdychiv was driving the Mazda CX-9, while a 60-year-old local man was behind the wheel of the Nissan Leaf. The crash claimed the lives of the 60-year-old male driver of the electric car and his 60-year-old wife. A 32-year-old female passenger in the Nissan Leaf was injured and hospitalized. The driver of the Mazda CX-9 and her three passengers also sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital.
