Zelensky on the scenario without peace: what will happen if Putin rejects all negotiations.
According to ТСН: President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the possible consequences if dictator Putin rejects all proposals for peace negotiations and an end to the war.
During a communication with journalists after a meeting in Berlin, Zelensky noted:
"If Putin rejects everything, it will be like what we have in the plane now. Such turbulence. It is really happening now, but it is not as great compared to the war, undoubtedly and with the fact that if Putin destroys any diplomatic opportunities."
The President of Ukraine emphasized the importance of reparative loans from frozen assets of the Russian Federation, which will help ensure the stability of the Ukrainian economy amid the ongoing aggression of the Kremlin.
The necessity of sanctions and military support
Zelensky also drew attention to the importance of sanctions and the supply of weapons to Ukraine, noting:
"I think America will put pressure with sanctions and give us more weapons if he (Putin) rejects everything. I think this will be a fair request from us to the Americans. Because, in my opinion, the logic is this: if the Americans are ready to provide security guarantees to Ukraine and apply strong guarantees if Putin violates them. Then honestly tell me, how is this different from the situation if Putin does not want to end?"
In conclusion, the head of British intelligence also previously expressed the opinion that Putin has no intention of stopping the war.
The situation around the peace negotiations remains tense. It is important to understand that Russia's refusal to dialogue may lead to even greater difficulties for both Ukraine and the region as a whole. However, international support, including sanctions and military supplies, remains a key factor in countering aggression.
