According to ТСН: In the Austrian city of Enns, a pet made an incredible escape after being startled by the sound of a firecracker. The dog jumped over a garden fence and ran away, charting its course for more than four hours.

Impressive route of the dog

According to reports, the dog ran through the entire city, crossed a bridge over the Danube, and headed towards Linz. Overall, the four-legged traveler covered about 12 kilometers.

Traffic stop

To avoid a tragedy, the police had to restrict traffic on the highway, forcing drivers to slow down. Eventually, thanks to a caring passerby, the runaway was captured in Mauthausen. The animal was taken to the police station, where its owner soon picked it up.

Additional information

It is worth mentioning that 25-year-old fisherman Oscar Ford recorded the dramatic moment when a two-meter great white shark was caught on his hook. For 35 minutes, the man fought with the predator, which, in the heat of battle, began to bite the edge of the boat right before the eyes of shocked bystanders.

This story shows how much our pets can experience stressful situations. The runaway dog, despite the dangers it faced, covered a great distance, and fortunately, it was found and returned to its family. It reminds us of the importance of being attentive during holidays when firecrackers and other loud noises can frighten animals.
