The USA officially confirmed Biden's permission for strikes deep into Russia.
Ukraine received permission to use American weapons to attack Russia
Ukraine received permission from the United States of America to use American weapons for attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation. This was stated by U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Brian Nichols in an exclusive interview with O Globo. According to him, this decision aims to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.
The weapons we provided will give Ukraine more opportunities for self-defense, - Nichols emphasized. - We hope that this will help Russia understand the futility of a forceful scenario and encourage it to enter a negotiation process or withdraw troops from Ukrainian territory.
Let us recall that recently there was press information that U.S. President Joe Biden gave permission for Ukraine to attack Russia. The next day, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Josep Borrell urged EU countries to allow Ukraine to attack remote targets in Russia using European-made missiles.
On November 19, ATACMS missiles struck a military facility on the territory of the Russian Federation.
