According to UATV: On February 24, 2023, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President António Costa will visit Kyiv to mark the fourth anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. This high-level meeting underscores the European Union's unwavering commitment. The event will notably include a session of the 'coalition of the willing,' led by French President Emmanuel Macron and British Labour leader Keir Starmer, demonstrating support from 35 participating nations.

Announced on February 23, 2023, the visit aims to commemorate the somber anniversary and project a unified international stance on security. EU High Representative Kaja Kallas is also scheduled to announce a 20th package of sanctions, highlighting the bloc's continued resolve to counter Russian aggression.

“As Russian aggression enters its fifth year, this meeting will confirm the commitment of 35 participating countries to support Ukraine in achieving a lasting and durable peace that ensures security for both Ukraine and Europe,” stated an EU representative.
