Ukrainians aged 40+ are invited for free health screening: how to obtain 2000 hryvnias.
According to ТСН: Starting from January 1, an important national program "Health Screening 40+" will be launched in Ukraine, aimed at timely detection of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and mental health issues in middle-aged and older individuals.
The launch of the program was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
"It will allow Ukrainians aged 40 and older to undergo examinations and timely identify the risks of chronic diseases. The cost of screening is covered by the state," Svyrydenko noted.
According to her, each participant of the program will receive 2,000 hryvnias from the state, which can only be spent on medical check-ups.
How to use the service through 'Diia':
Initially, an invitation will automatically be sent to the app on the 30th day after your birthday.
Then, you need to accept the invitation and open a special Diia Card (or use an already existing one).
Funds will be credited to your account within 7 days.
After receiving the funds, you need to choose a participating medical institution and schedule an appointment.
"If you do not have 'Diia', after the 30th day from your birthday, please contact a partner bank (currently this is PrivatBank) to issue a plastic card with a special account, and then — to the CNAAP," the Prime Minister pointed out.
She emphasized that examinations can be performed in state, municipal, or private medical institutions that participate in the program, regardless of the place of registration. A full list of examinations and the nearest clinics can be found on the official website of the program.
Also, starting from January 1, 2026, an extension of the "Health Screening 40+" program will begin in Ukraine. The state will cover these expenses through "Diia" — the government has already approved the corresponding decision.
Within the framework of the program, Ukrainians can receive important medical examinations that will contribute to improving their health and quality of life. This is another step towards reforming the healthcare system and ensuring the accessibility of medical services for the population.
