Stratcom responded to Bezugla's statement about 'million bonuses' of the general staff.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces refuted the statements of MP Maryana Bezugla about 'million bonuses' of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Center for Strategic Communications of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that these statements benefit the enemy and create discord among the Ukrainian society.
The press service of the Center for Strategic Communications noted that according to the Disciplinary Statute of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there is a full list of incentives for military personnel, including monetary bonuses, which serve as additional motivation for the best soldiers. These bonuses are funded from the resources allocated in the State Budget of Ukraine.
In 2024, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine allocated 19 million UAH for the bonus fund, which was distributed among 426 military personnel. A smaller amount, 1.8 million UAH, was received by the bonus fund of the Chief of the General Staff, which was used to reward 22 military personnel.
Representatives of the Armed Forces urged not to spread fakes that discredit Ukrainian defenders and fuel enemy propaganda.
This information was also commented on by the Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksii Neizhpapa, emphasizing that the distribution of bonuses was carried out in accordance with established laws.
