Russian shelling of Chernihiv region on Christmas Eve: thousands of subscribers left without electricity.
According to ТСН: Today, on Christmas Eve, several important energy facilities were damaged in the Chernihiv region as a result of shelling from Russia.
This is reported by 'Chernihivoblenergo'.
As a result of the attack, subscribers in the city of Chernihiv and several settlements in the Chernihiv district experienced power outages.
'We ask you to remain calm and follow safety measures. As soon as the security situation allows, energy workers will begin emergency recovery work.'
In addition, today in Chernihiv, a Russian drone hit a multi-storey building.
This situation once again highlights the difficult security conditions in the region. Shelling continues to harm not only infrastructure but also civilians. Local authorities urge the population to follow safety recommendations and closely monitor information.
Currently, energy workers are working to restore electricity supply; however, their efforts are significantly complicated by constant risks from the enemy.
