According to TSN.ua: A terrorist bombing in Lviv on the night of February 22 resulted in the death of 23-year-old police officer Viktoriia Shpylka. The perpetrators of the attack had reportedly promised a payment of 60,000 Ukrainian hryvnias (approximately $1,500) to carry out the crime, but Shpylka did not receive this sum. Law enforcement has already detained a suspect—a 33-year-old resident of the Rivne region. Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi confirmed the nature of the event, stating:
