According to TSN.ua: A 30-year-old Ukrainian National Guardsman, Yosyf Pavlynskyi, has succumbed to injuries sustained in a terrorist attack in Lviv on February 22nd. Pavlynskyi was wounded while performing his official duties. The attack also claimed the life of 23-year-old patrol officer Viktoriia Shpylka. In total, 25 people were injured, with 11 requiring hospitalization.
Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi offered his condolences to the serviceman's family:
“Unfortunately, we have another loss following the terrorist attack in Lviv. In the hospital, 30-year-old Ukrainian National Guardsman Yosyf Pavlynskyi has died. Sincere condolences to the family. The Lviv community mourns with you.” - Andrii Sadovyi
Ukraine's Security Service (SBU) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) have detained a suspected perpetrator of the attack in the city of Sambir. Iryna Savetinia, suspected of committing the crime, was placed under a pre-trial restraint measure on February 23rd. Separately, an 18-year-old woman from Kharkiv has been notified of suspicion for making a false crime report.
