Fatal Crash Occurs on M-14 Highway
According to TSN.ua: A deadly collision involving an SUV and a truck on the M-14 'Odesa-Melitopol-Novoaozovsk' highway near the village of Polovynky in the Mykolaiv district has claimed three lives. The victims were the SUV's driver and two passengers. A fourth passenger from the SUV sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital. The driver of the truck was not hurt in the incident. Ukrainian law enforcement has initiated a criminal investigation under Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Road safety remains a significant challenge across the country.
In a separate incident underscoring these dangers, an accident involving an SUV and a diesel locomotive occurred in the village of Dubivtsi in the Chernivtsi district. The circumstances of both crashes are currently under investigation.
