According to Espreso.tv: Following a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko traveled to China for discussions on global affairs and bilateral ties. On June 26, Lukashenko arrived in Russia, meeting Putin at the Valdai venue. After concluding talks with the Russian head of state, he flew directly to Beijing.
In China, Lukashenko held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. During their meeting, Xi emphasized that relations between China and Belarus have reached an all-time high. He described the partnership by stating,
“China and Belarus are ironclad friends”— Xi Jinping. Lukashenko also commented on his journey, saying:
