Yellow Weather Alert Issued Across Ukraine for April 2: Fog and Rain Expected.
Ukraine Weather Forecast for April 2
According to TSN.ua: On Thursday, April 2, Ukraine will experience mostly cloudy skies with occasional clear spells, along with light rain in some areas. Forecasters have issued a yellow warning for hazardous meteorological conditions due to fog.
Overnight temperatures will range from 5 to 10 degrees Celsius, while western regions will see slightly cooler conditions between 2 and 7 degrees. During the day, temperatures are expected to climb to 14–19 degrees. In Kyiv, the mercury will hover between 7 and 9 degrees at night, rising to 17–19 degrees in the afternoon.
Caution Advised on Roads
Winds across the country will predominantly come from the northeast at speeds of 5 to 10 meters per second. Additionally, fog will reduce visibility on certain roads to between 200 and 500 meters, which could make travel more difficult.
Given the yellow alert and these weather conditions, residents are urged to stay vigilant and exercise caution, particularly when driving in foggy areas.
The current weather situation in Ukraine highlights the importance of following safety guidelines, especially for drivers, as reduced visibility may increase the risk of traffic accidents.
Authorities recommend that people be careful on the roads and, if possible, avoid traveling during severe weather. These conditions may also affect agriculture and daily life, so it is crucial to stay updated with the latest forecasts.
