A court in Dnipro fined a webcam model 86 thousand hryvnias for pornography.

According to ТСН: In Dnipro, the Sobornyi District Court issued a verdict against a local resident who was engaged in the production and distribution of pornographic videos on the Internet. The woman worked as a webcam model under the pseudonym 'Wow_Lady'.

What is known about the case

The investigation established that the defendant registered on a popular adult site 'Stripchat'. From October to December 2024, she regularly held live streams from a rented apartment. During the broadcasts, the woman exposed herself to viewers and demonstrated her genitals, which, according to the conclusions of an art study expert examination, qualifies as pornographic material.

Law enforcement recorded at least 10 episodes of such broadcasts, which were saved in the form of video files as 'screen recordings'.

The accused's profile

In court, the woman fully admitted her guilt and expressed remorse.

It is known that she:

• had no previous convictions;

• is officially employed;

• is raising her minor daughter born in 2012 on her own;

Punishment

The court qualified the woman's actions under part 2 of Article 301 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (production and distribution of pornography). Despite the fact that the article provides for the possibility of imprisonment, the judge, considering her sincere remorse and the presence of a child, imposed a lighter punishment.

The woman was found guilty and fined 51,000 hryvnias.

Additionally, the convicted person will have to pay a significant amount to the state for conducting judicial examinations — 34,892 hryvnias. Thus, the total costs for 'earning' on camera amounted to almost 86 thousand hryvnias.

This case has become a vivid example of modern challenges in the field of offenses related to the Internet. The court's verdict emphasizes the importance of regulating content on the network and the potential consequences of such actions for minors who may be involved in similar activities. Given the situation with pornography on adult platforms, such cases may become increasingly relevant in Ukraine.
