Heating restored in Kyiv after massive attack: all boiler houses are operational.
According to ТСН: After the massive attack by Russian military forces, which led to blackouts and the suspension of centralized heating in residential buildings in Kyiv, city boiler houses have resumed operations.
Heating restoration
This was reported by Vice Prime Minister Olexiy Kuleba. According to him, currently about 85% of high-rise buildings that were left without heating are receiving warmth again. All boiler houses in the city are operating at full capacity.
Kuleba also noted that specialists are restarting systems and carrying out work on venting networks to ensure that each apartment is heated.
“Energy workers, communal services, and repair teams are working around the clock to quickly restore warmth to the homes of Kyiv residents. The work continues — the situation is under constant control,” he assured.
Energy situation
The Vice Prime Minister emphasized that Russian military forces intentionally carried out one of the largest attacks on the capital's energy infrastructure precisely during a period of deteriorating weather conditions.
It should be noted that the day before, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine Mykola Kolisnyk reported the restoration of electricity supply for all consumers in Kyiv.
The situation with the capital's energy infrastructure remains under control. Authorities are actively working on restoring all services to ensure comfort and safety for the residents of Kyiv in the cold conditions. Timely actions by energy and utility workers can help avoid serious heating issues in the future.
