The first certified mobile shelter appeared in Kyiv: what it looks like.
According to ТСН: Today, the first mobile shelter that meets state standards and has certification from the State Emergency Service was installed in Kyiv. This protective structure is located in the Desnian district in the Lisovyi massif at the address Milutenka St., 19.
Kyiv City Military Administration Head Tymur Tkachenko noted:
"In the Desnian district, Lisovyi massif, the situation with shelters for residents is one of the most difficult."
This mobile shelter has become the first object of its type both in the capital and in Ukraine as a whole. It was created with consideration for inclusivity requirements, and its address has already been added to the official map of shelters.
It is known that the facility has been transferred to the city for permanent use financed by responsible businesses' off-budget funds.
Currently, tenders are ongoing in various districts of Kyiv, which involves a gradual increase in the number of mobile shelters in the city.
It is also worth noting that in Obolon and Podil districts, as well as on the left bank of Kyiv, where subway stations are built at a depth of up to 10 meters, only 32 out of 52 underground stations of the Kyiv metro can provide protection from shelling and radiation.
The installation of the mobile shelter is an important step to enhance the safety of Kyiv residents, especially in the face of threats. Such facilities, which meet modern requirements, will help ensure the protection of the population in unforeseen situations. All these measures underscore the city's efforts to ensure the safety of citizens and readiness to respond to contemporary challenges.
