Air raid alerts continue in Kyiv due to a massive strike by Russian invaders on the capital of Ukraine. Reports indicate destruction, fires, and smoke at the Luk'yanivska metro station.
According to Novyny.LIVE and the Kyiv City State Administration, the smoke at the Luk'yanivska station was caused by damage to the metro entrance. Regarding incidents in other areas of Kyiv, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported a fire in a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, burning of a non-residential building in the Solomianskyi district, a fire in kiosks and a residential building on the roof in the Dniprovskyi district, and a fire at a kindergarten. The mayor urged residents not to leave shelters.
Also, in the evening of July 20, explosions occurred in Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region due to strikes by Russian drones. There were also previous attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia region.
In connection with the massive strike by Russian invaders on the capital of Ukraine, destruction, fires, and smoke have already been recorded at various sites. Authorities urge residents to be cautious and follow necessary safety measures.
