Naftogaz tripled its profit in the first half of 2024

According to the financial report review of the Naftogaz group, the company received 24.4 billion UAH of net consolidated profit in the first half of 2024. This is 4 times more than in the first half of 2023 (6.6 billion UAH).

The Naftogaz group notes that even under martial law and fulfilling state obligations, it continues to strengthen its position and shows growth in financial results. Aleksei Chernyshov, the head of the company, expressed his gratitude to all Naftogaz employees for this success.

The company noted that consolidated operating profit for the first half of 2024 amounted to 28.9 billion UAH, which is twice as much as last year.

Naftogaz explains the improvement in financial results by increasing revenues from the sale of gas, oil, petroleum products, and gas distribution services.

The following companies of the Naftogaz group showed profit in the first half of 2024: NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine", PJSC "Ukrgazvydobuvannya", PJSC "Ukrtransgaz", PJSC "Ukrnafta", LLC "Gas Supply Company "Naftogaz Ukraine", PJSC «Ukrtransnafta».

Also, the companies of the Naftogaz group paid taxes to the state budget in the amount of 44 billion UAH, which is 7.5% of all controlled payments of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

It is important to note that the company successfully completed the heating season of 2023/2024 under the conditions of a special heating regime plan (PSO) at the beginning of April 2024.
