According to ТСН: Russia claims that there are finally positive developments in negotiations with the United States regarding the end of the war in Ukraine.

During a briefing, the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated that the diplomatic dialogue with Washington shows optimistic results, although progress is slow.

“In the negotiation process regarding the Ukrainian settlement — I mean the negotiations with the United States of America — there is a slow but steady movement forward,” said Zakharova.

At the same time, the Russian Foreign Ministry representative accused Western European countries of attempting to obstruct agreements. According to her, the actions of Western European states allegedly 'torpedo' the negotiations with Washington.

It is recalled that Moscow is currently analyzing a peace plan submitted by Putin's special envoy Kirill Dmitriev. The next steps will depend on the decision of the President of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, it was also reported that Russia is preparing new demands, including restrictions for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, lifting sanctions, and territorial concessions that Kyiv considers unacceptable.

This situation highlights the complexity and ambiguity of peace negotiations in the context of military actions in Ukraine. While Russia claims progress, Kyiv remains firm in its positions, which may complicate achieving a real compromise. The further development of events depends not only on negotiations but also on external political factors influencing both sides.
