Zaporizhzhia has almost completely restored water supply after attacks: how it was achieved.
According to ТСН: The phased restoration of water supply in Zaporizhzhia continues after the Russian attacks, aiming to avoid hydraulic shocks and potential damage to pipelines. Currently, virtually all areas of the city are receiving water.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration expressed gratitude to the residents for their patience and perseverance.
Utility Services Operations
Utility specialists are working non-stop, monitoring the process of filling the networks and the stability of the system's operation. The critical infrastructure of the region remains under constant supervision, and helping residents is the main priority.
Status of Medical Institutions
Medical institutions in the Zaporizhzhia region are operating as usual and are provided with electricity.
Railway Situation
Due to the power outage in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia, UZ has activated backup locomotives for several trains. The railway infrastructure is operating on generators, and the stations have stable communication and power supply.
Trains No. 734 (Kyiv-Dnipro), No. 37 (Zaporizhzhia-Kyiv), No. 119 (Dnipro-Kholm), and No. 79 (Dnipro-Lviv) are delayed.
Deterioration of Weather Conditions
In addition to military actions, weather will also impact the energy system: in the morning of January 8, a powerful cyclone will hit Ukraine, which may lead to new power outages that will occur outside the schedules.
The situation in Zaporizhzhia and neighboring regions remains tense due to military actions and changing weather conditions. Authorities are working on restoring essential infrastructure, and residents are hoping for stability in water and electricity supply under unpredictable circumstances.
