On October 25, military personnel in the Kursk region participated in writing the national unity radio dictation to test their knowledge of the Ukrainian language. Photos from the event were published on Facebook by the operational command 'West'.

Ternopil artillerymen have been writing the National Unity Radio Dictation for three consecutive years at firing positions, near cannons, combat vehicles, at command posts, and even in hospitals. This year, they remembered to add some exclusivity. The photos clearly show how military personnel write the dictation near a school in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region.

Other soldiers decided to write the dictation in a school's office, where the wall holds words of a Russian writer about «love for the native Russian language and country». They listened to the Ukrainian language from Pavlo Vyshebaba, the reader of the dictation.

The operational command 'West' notes that Ukrainians in all areas where our artillery warriors carry out their tasks heard the melodious Ukrainian word of the famous writer Oksana Zabuzhko.

Military personnel call for an understanding of the importance of the Ukrainian language as a weapon of victory. The National Unity Radio Dictation took place on October 25 at 11:00 Kyiv Time for the 25th time.

The National Unity Radio Dictation is annually dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, celebrated on October 27. This year's author of the radio dictation text was Oksana Zabuzhko.

Let me remind you that the idea of the radio dictation arose 23 years ago, and in 2000 it was initiated by the team 'Ukrainian Radio', aimed at uniting all Ukrainians around the language. Thanks to broadcasting on the radio and access to it on the Internet, people from any corner of the world can participate in the radio dictation.
