Food & Drink Expo: A Stage for Ukrainian Brands
According to TSN.ua: Held in the United Kingdom, the Food & Drink Expo stands as a premier event for the food industry, bringing together over 1,200 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors. This year, the Tea Moments brand participated in the Taste of the Future program, highlighting the rise of Ukrainian labels in the tea market. The company LLC 'Trypilske Sontse,' a Ukrainian tea manufacturer, showcased its brands, which include Sherlock Secrets, 'Chainia Rodyna,' and others.
Currently, the Tea Moments and Sherlock Secrets brands hold 4.5% and 4.8% of the Ukrainian tea market, respectively. This points to the growing popularity of domestic tea labels and their potential to expand internationally. Yulia Romantsova, a company representative, commented:
“Taking part in the Food & Drink Expo marks a crucial step for our company’s growth in international markets.” — Yulia Romantsova
She also emphasized that “we see great potential for Ukrainian tea brands in global markets.”
Export Goals and Global Ambitions
Moreover, around 10% of LLC 'Trypilske Sontse' output is already exported to foreign markets, underscoring the company’s drive to move beyond Ukraine. Participating in events like the Food & Drink Expo is a vital move to strengthen the position of Ukrainian producers and present their goods on the world stage.
The presence of Ukrainian companies at international exhibitions such as the Food & Drink Expo reflects a growing global interest in national brands. It also demonstrates their commitment to boosting exports and integrating into worldwide trade networks. These events are key for forging new business ties, sharing expertise, and adapting to international standards—factors that can positively impact the entire Ukrainian food industry.
