A snowstorm and ice cover Ukraine: forecasters warn of danger.

According to ТСН: Today, cloudy weather with a snowstorm prevails in Ukraine. Ice has formed on the roads, and in the afternoon, wet snow accumulation is expected in the Right Bank region.

According to the State Emergency Service, the wind is coming from the northwest (in the eastern part of the country - from the southwest) at a speed of 7-12 m/s. In the Right Bank region, gusts can reach 15-20 m/s, and in western regions, particularly in Vinnytsia and Odesa, gusts of 25-28 m/s are expected, accompanied by a blizzard. The air temperature will vary at night from 0 to -5°C, and during the day - from -3°C to +2°C.

Weather in Kyiv

Snowstorms are also forecasted in Kyiv. Ice is once again observed on the roads. The wind is northwestern, with a speed of 7-12 m/s, gusting up to 15-20 m/s, accompanied by a blizzard. The temperature in the region varies from 0 to -5°C at night, and during the day - from -3°C to +2°C; in the capital, the temperature at night and during the day will be from 0 to -2°C frost.

Danger Warning

Forecasters warn of possible dangerous meteorological phenomena in Kyiv and Kyiv region - Level I danger, yellow. In such weather conditions, traffic movement may become complicated.
