Power Stations for Children with Disabilities

According to TSN.ua: The Ukrainian government has approved a program to purchase 10,000 portable power stations for children with disabilities in subgroup A. This initiative aims to create a reliable energy reserve for 10,000 families requiring support during the ongoing energy crisis. The move is part of a broader effort to protect vulnerable populations from the severe impacts of power shortages.

The power stations to be procured have an approximate capacity of 2 kWh each. The Decarbonisation Fund will handle the purchase and delivery of the equipment to ensure the program's efficient implementation. The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine will be responsible for distributing the stations to those in need.

Funding for Apartment Buildings

In a separate but related measure, apartment buildings will be eligible to receive between 100,000 and 300,000 hryvnias for purchasing autonomous power equipment.

"We have changed the procedure for using the State Decarbonisation Fund's resources to support children with disabilities in subgroup A during the energy crisis," stated Yuliia Svyrydenko.
This step is designed not only to improve the quality of life for these children but also to provide their families with essential energy support.

This program responds to the growing need for energy assistance during the crisis, particularly for vulnerable groups. Supplying portable power stations to children with disabilities can significantly ease their daily lives and help families maintain the necessary conditions for their care and development. Therefore, the initiative addresses urgent needs while underscoring the critical importance of social support during challenging times.
