Incident in the Kyiv Metro
According to ТСН: An unexpected incident occurred in the metro of the capital of Ukraine. At the "Olympiyska" station, one of the passengers jumped onto the tracks and ran into the tunnel towards the "Ukrainian Heroes" station. As a result, train traffic on the blue line was suspended.
"The man jumped onto the tracks and ran in the direction of the 'Ukrainian Heroes' station. We are currently establishing the man's whereabouts and identity," the Kyiv police reported.
At the same time, an air raid alert was announced in the city, and the station began operating in shelter mode.
According to the Kyiv metro police, the offender was detained. He is 20 years old. During the time the young man was in the tunnel from 21:55 to 22:34, the power was cut at the station. His actions are subject to administrative responsibility under Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses.
Situation with the driver
Another unpleasant incident occurred in Kyiv: a driver attempted to run over a police officer and fled. Law enforcement stopped the vehicle for inspection, and at that moment the driver suddenly started moving towards the police officer, after which he disappeared from the scene.
These incidents once again emphasize the importance of safety both in public transport and on the streets of the city. The authorities are paying attention to the need to strengthen control and response to such cases to ensure peace and order for all citizens.
