Odessa was attacked by Shaheds on New Year's Eve: communication outages occurred.

According to ТСН: On the night of December 31, explosions were heard in Odessa during an air raid alert.

The head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported:

“It is loud in the city! Stay in safe places.”

Before the explosions, the Ukrainian Air Forces reported a group of drones approaching the city from the north. Monitoring channels also noted several UAVs moving towards Odessa from the Black Sea area.

Serhiy Lysak emphasized:

“Another evidence that Russia is fighting against the civilian population. Due to the enemy attack, there is no electricity, water, or heating supplies in part of the city.”

It is also known that on the night of December 31, Ukraine was attacked by hostile Shahed-type drones. Furthermore, there were reports of attacks using ballistic missiles.

This attack once again demonstrates the threat posed by drones at this moment and emphasizes the seriousness of the energy supply situation in the city. Residents of Odessa should be cautious and follow safety measures in conditions of elevated threat.
