Frosts will come to Ukraine before Christmas: meteorologists revealed the details.

According to ТСН: The beginning of the week in Ukraine will be calm, without significant changes in weather conditions. However, noticeable frosts are expected by Christmas.

Synoptic forecast

As noted by meteorologist Natalka Didenko, on December 22 there will be no significant precipitation in Ukraine, only light drizzles may occur in some areas. The temperature during the day in most regions will fluctuate around 0°C, while in the south it will rise to +3…+8°C.

“Although visually it is still not noticeable, this astronomical turning point symbolizes the beginning of the path to spring,” said the meteorologist.

Weather change

Calm weather will last until December 23. On Christmas Eve and Christmas, December 24-25, a significant cooling is expected in the country, creating a true winter atmosphere.

“Nature adheres to its calendar: after a few warm days, we are in for significant cooling,” Didenko added.

Thus, the beginning of the week will be relatively warm, while the Christmas holidays will bring classic winter weather with frosts.

It is reminded that earlier it was reported that on Sunday, December 21, cloudy weather without significant precipitation is expected in Ukraine. Fog will persist throughout the territory, and winds will predominantly change direction at 3-8 m/s.
