“My husband, Volodymyr Boreiko, a renowned Ukrainian ecologist, died in a car crash near Kyiv. Our family will announce the time and place of the funeral at a later date.”

Born on October 5, 1958, Boreiko led the public organization 'Kyiv Ecological and Cultural Center' and served as editor-in-chief of the 'Humanitarian and Ecological Journal.' His work directly helped shape 18 environmental protection laws in the country.
