Kyiv shelling on July 31 — consequences

On the night of Thursday, July 31, Russia launched 309 strike drones and 8 Iskander-K cruise missiles at Ukraine. The main direction of the strike was Kyiv.

The aerial targets approached the city in two waves — first drones, and then in the morning at 4:35 missiles arrived. According to the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Air Force Yuri Ihnat, the missiles flew at extremely low altitudes, which complicated both their detection and interception.
