Russia used Shahed drones with cluster munitions against Vyshgorod: purpose.
Strike on Vyshgorod
According to ТСН: Russian troops specifically used "Shahed" drones with cluster munitions to attack Vyshgorod, aiming to increase the number of casualties.
This was reported by military expert in the field of electronic warfare and communications, Serhiy Beskrestnov, with the callsign "Flash," on Telegram.
He emphasized that all three "Shaheds" that attacked Vyshgorod on the night of November 30 were equipped with cluster munitions. The "Shaheds" dropped these munitions on the city and struck residential buildings.
"I am an honest person and do not consider all of the enemy's strikes on residential buildings intentional, but in such situations where three UAVs are pre-programmed to attack a peaceful city with cluster munitions, I have nothing to say."
In Flash's opinion, the photo shows a submunition that scatters around. This type of ammunition is used to harm as many people as possible, as the explosions do not occur in one place but create hundreds of small explosions over a large area.
It should be noted that as a result of the enemy drone attack on Vyshgorod on the night of November 30, one person was killed, and 19 others were injured, including four children.
This tragedy highlights the brutality of the conflict and the risks faced by the civilian population of Ukrainian cities. The use of cluster munitions demonstrates the dangers of modern warfare, where civilians often become targets. It is important to continue drawing attention to such events to ensure safety and protect human rights.
