Vitalii Kozlovsky's Performance

According to TSN.ua: During a concert at Kyiv's 'Ukraina' Palace on March 1, singer Vitalii Kozlovsky performed the Ukrainian-language version of the hit song 'Shakespeare' for the very first time. He introduced the live performance with the lyrics:

''Shakespeare would not write about us. And I am no longer your hero. But for you, at this time. I am the one! I am the one!''
This move is part of a growing trend among Ukrainian artists to localize international hits for their domestic audience.

Future Plans

Looking ahead, Kozlovsky has announced plans to release a Ukrainian version of the hit 'Pina Colada' in the spring of 2025. A significant professional milestone for the artist was settling his debt with Ihor Kondratiuk and repurchasing the rights to his own musical compositions, granting him greater creative and financial control.

The artist also recently celebrated a personal milestone as his son, Oscar, turned two years old. These events highlight both his professional achievements and important family moments.

Kozlovsky's debut of the Ukrainian 'Shakespeare' underscores his effort to adapt popular music for his home audience, a practice that resonates with cultural pride. His financial independence, achieved through paying off debts and reclaiming his song rights, points to a strategic focus on artistic autonomy. Together with his family life, these developments contribute to his public image as a dedicated artist and father, which may further bolster his popularity within Ukraine.
