President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded Captain Pavlo Yazlovetsky the Order of 'Golden Star' for his heroic actions in the Kursk region.

Captain Yazlovetsky led the airborne assault company of the 82nd separate airborne assault brigade and carried out raids during which his unit fell into ambushes, but was able to secure the designated area. He organized a circular defense and responded to the Russian invaders.

Pavlo Yazlovetsky and his team traversed dozens of kilometers across enemy-controlled territory and broke out of encirclement. The unit under his command destroyed three enemy army platoons, four units of combat equipment, and ten units of automotive equipment. 102 soldiers fought under Yazlovetsky for two days.

The situation became complicated when the commander of the 7th company was wounded, and Jack had to take command of both companies. The enemy continued to move into the rear without knowing about our soldiers' actions. Thanks to organization and fire operations, the units under Jack's command managed to repel enemy attacks and destroy their forces.

Under Jack's leadership, our soldiers successfully overcame various obstacles over two days. The unit under his command destroyed three enemy platoons, four units of combat equipment, and ten units of automotive equipment.

President Zelensky honored the soldiers participating in the Kursk operation with state awards. He believes this operation plays an important role in the negotiation process and emphasizes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine control the situation in the region and continue to hold their positions. Six months have passed since the conflict began, and the total enemy losses amount to about 40 thousand people, of which more than 16 thousand are killed.
