Massive Attack on Kyiv: What Is Known About the Consequences of the Night Shelling.
According to ТСН: Kyiv has been under intense strikes from Russian troops for several hours. On the night of November 29, the Russian army launched drones, missiles, and precision weapons, including "Kinzhal" against the capital. As a result of these attacks, at least two people were killed, and more than ten were injured, including a child.
Two Waves of Attacks on Kyiv
Air raid alerts were declared in Kyiv around 23:00 due to the threat from drones. The first explosions were heard at midnight, and soon ballistic missiles joined the drones.
A new wave of attacks began early in the morning. Around six and after seven o'clock, a loud explosion was heard again, and the city was once again under threat from "Kinzhal" missiles.
According to some reports, over 20 drones were directed towards Kyiv, and approximately 80 enemy drones were detected over Kyiv region.
In several districts of the capital, the consequences of the Russian shelling were recorded: debris fell on open areas and near residential buildings, causing damage to private homes and high-rise buildings.
Casualties and Injuries
The Kyiv authorities reported the death of one person - a 42-year-old man from Svyatoshyn. In the morning, the head of the Kyiv military administration, Tymur Tkachenko, clarified that the number of victims has risen to two.
As of 08:00, 15 people were reported injured as a result of the shelling, six of whom were hospitalized.
Half of Kyiv Without Electricity and Water
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported in the morning that the western part of the capital was left without electricity, and energy workers are working to restore supply.
The water pressure in the water supply system has decreased in residential buildings on the right bank.
Hits on Buildings
In the Darnytskyi and Dniprovskiy districts of Kyiv, cases of missiles hitting residential buildings were recorded. In Darnytsia, missile debris fell in the yard of a nine-story building, while in another location, it struck a residential building.
In the Dniprovskiy district, debris from a UAV hit one of the ten-story buildings, damaging two floors and causing a fire. Demolition work is ongoing. Local Telegram channels are publishing the consequences of the "arrival".
In Solomyanka, debris falling led to a fire on the first and second floors of a 25-story residential building, resulting in partial facade destruction from the 1st to the 3rd floors, and cars were also damaged in the yard.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a 14-story residential building was damaged, with apartments on the 4th and 5th floors catching fire, but the fire has already been extinguished.
In the Svyatoshynskyi district, UAV debris hit the entrance of a 3-story residential building, leading to a fire. Rescuers saved a child, but the body of a deceased man was
unblocked from the debris. Demolition work is ongoing.
