Iran retains the right to enrich uranium
Iran does not intend to stop enriching uranium. The country's representative to the UN, Amir Saeed Iravani, stated that uranium enrichment is legal and complies with international agreements. Iran is ready for negotiations but does not agree with the US demand for a complete production ban.
'Enrichment is our right, an inalienable right, and we want to exercise this right,' emphasized Iravani.

IAEA inspectors currently do not have access to Iran's nuclear facilities. In his response to statements made by the American president, Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stressed the impossibility of the country capitulating to the US. President Trump, for his part, agreed to the possibility of lifting sanctions against Iran if the country demonstrates peaceful intentions.
A Ukrainian journalist described the complex relationship between Iran and the US in the context of nuclear energy. Iran reaffirms its rights to enrich uranium, while the US considers the possibility of a diplomatic resolution. Although the situation is tense, both sides are open to negotiations.
