Zelensky discussed security and air defense with Chancellor Scholz
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to discuss security issues and enhance Ukraine's air shield. Zelensky reported this on social media.
During the conversation, the presidents openly discussed numerous issues regarding security architecture and emphasized its importance. Zelensky also highlighted the necessity for Europe to unite around Ukraine and expressed hope for the end of the war. He also expressed gratitude to the USA for their support and hoped for successful cooperation.
Special attention during the conversation was given to the issue of Ukraine's air defense. Zelensky expressed his gratitude to the German side for their support of the Ukrainian air shield and readiness for further cooperation in this direction.
