Zelensky signed a key transportation law: what will change for carriers.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law on the market of automotive transportation services, which will help the Ukrainian market adapt to the standards of the European Union. This law allows Ukrainian businesses to operate in the common transport space with the EU.
One of the innovations is the implementation of European standards for licensing carriers. According to this law, carriers must have a good reputation, financial stability, and professional competence. All necessary information about the carrier will be collected in the Unified information systems for transport security.
The law will come into force a year after its publication. This will allow businesses to adapt to new requirements, update documentation, and undergo training.
The Minister of Development of the Vast Territory Oleksiy Kuleba emphasized that this law is an important step towards creating equal conditions for Ukrainian and European carriers. He also expressed gratitude to the President and members of Parliament for their support.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with a representative of the European Union the refusal of Volodymyr Putin regarding the American proposal for a ceasefire.
