He noted that the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council and head of the Ukrainian delegation for negotiations, Rustem Umerov, reported on his recent contacts with the American side. Zelensky also hinted at important decisions that could be made by the New Year.

“We are not wasting a day. We have agreed on a high-level meeting - with President Trump soon. A lot could be decided by the New Year,” Zelensky intrigued with his statement.

It is worth noting that there is information about a possible visit of Zelensky to the USA for negotiations with American officials. A source told the publication that the meeting could take place at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate on December 28.
